Slanic Moldova is a town and a spa resort in Bacau county, Romania. It is located on the eastern Carpathians , in a depression crossed by the river Slanic.

2) HISTORY:

Slanic Moldova became known primarily due to salt deposit that was exploited for over three centuries.
